The Way of St. James program allows you to get to know some of the main Spanish cities. The tour begins in Madrid, the capital city of culture, which keeps some of the biggest contemporary art treasures like the works of Velasquez. On the third day exit to Avila, a city particularly known for its numerous churches and Saint Teresa of Ávila. The next stop takes place in Salamanca, a beautiful city known as one of the richest Spanish cities in buildings from the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Baroque and Classical eras. On the fourth day of travel, the destination is Santiago de Compostela, the program's main attraction. Then moving on to Ponferrada with its beautiful castle, Astorga - one of the ends of the Roman road that begins in Braga, Leon whose Easter processions are declared of international interest, Burgos, and Segovia - beautiful city built on a rocky ledge surrounded by the rivers Eresma and Clamores.
